New 25 metre Long and 3 metre high photo installment at IGA supermarket Thirroul.

This massive 25 metre long photo has been installed at IGA supermarket Thirroul and runs the whole length of the hallway into the store. It's actually longer than the photo you can see here as I couldn't fit the whole photo in the shot. The photo is of course of the famous Sandon Point boat sheds just a short distance from the store. Unfortunetly the JPEG was printed and not the Raw file but it still went the distance. If you are in Thirroul be sure to pop in and check it out as it is one of the biggest photos ever printed in the Illawarra area. While you are there I have photos at the checkouts available to purchase, matted prints, calendars and postcards. You will find Thirroul IGA at 275 Lawrence Hargrave Drive, Thirroul.

Power of two...article in 2508 Magazine about guided escarpment photography adventures in Wollongong!

New Release of Wollongong...

Today I released this new photo of Wollongong taken at the North Wollongong Bathers Pavilion looking out at a stormy sky over North Wollongong Beach. It's something a little different from me but I quite like it and think it represents a part of Wollongong culture in a simple way. One of the things I love most about landscape photography is the amazing places that it takes me. I love to adventure, mountain climb and explore new areas in search of nice and unique landscape photographs and I have a behind the scenes section on my website, where you can view some of my photography journey's to places like the New Zealand Southern Alps, The Swiss Alps, Australia's snowy mountains, Cradle Mountain in Tasmania as well as plenty from the Illawarra escarpment in my home town of Wollongong. Massive 30x45 Inch brushed metal print!

I have recently installed a massive 30x45 Inch brushed metal print into Body Dynamics at Bulli. If you would like to see what the metal product looks and feels like, the owners are happy for you to pop in and have a look at this quality Print2metal product. The address is 249 Princess Highway at Bulli, diagonally across from the Bulli Heritage Hotel. Apologies for the streak of light on the photo but with the brushed metal finish it is very difficult not to get some sort of additional light on the photo.

National Geographic is coming to Wollongong!

Daily Telegraph Photo Feature, and TV appearance...

On the 8th of September my Wollongong Spectacular Photo featured in the Daily Telegraph weather section and on the next day it also appeared on the TV with Tim Bailey on Channel Ten News. Unfortunately I missed the TV appearance as I was in New Zealand but was lucky enough many people saved a copy of the Daily Telegraph for me. Thanks Everyone :)

New Release Wollongong Harbour shot on the way!

This photo will be released soon at www.chilby.com.au - A beautiful big double rainbow appeared over Wollongong Harbour on a very very cold early spring afternoon. I saw this rainbow from Bulli tops on the drive home from Sydney and headed straight for Wollongong Harbour. The rainbow hung around for hours, it faded away many times but as the sun popped out the rainbow illuminated once more. I took many shots in and around the harbour so stay tuned to my Facebook Page for the latest rainbow shots.

New Release making a splash!!!!

This is one of my personal favourite shots and it proved very popular on the Chilby Photography Facebook page. It has now been introduced as a new release at www.chilby.com.au. The photo was taken on quite a dramatic afternoon at Wollongong Harbour, huge seas lashed the break wall and a spectacular sunset produced some amazing red and orange tones over the Wollongong Harbour. The Whitsunday photo shoot in Queensland coming soon!

I was very fortunate to visit the Whitsundays in North Queensland and photograph the beautiful aqua blue waters and tropical islands of this part of the world. On the way to Chilby Photography is a series of photos from Airlie Beach, Bowen, Whitsunday Island, Daydream Island, Shute Harbour, the Great Barrier Reef, the Proserpine River and much more.

I did an aerial photography shoot over the Whitsunday Islands and visited the Great Barrier Reef with some all new under water photos coming.
